CIMIT Awards its first Primary Health Care Prize of $150,000

June 25, 2009- The Center for Integration of Medicine and Innovation Technology (CIMIT) gave its first Prize for Primary Healthcare to John Moore, who was awarded $150,000, for his project title CollaboRythm: Primary Care Teamwork Anywhere at Any Time.

The CIMIT Prize for Primary Healthcare is a national competition open to graduate and undergraduate engineering students from accredited engineering programs. It calls for technological innovations with the greatest potential to support and catalyze improved delivery of healthcare at the frontlines of medicine. CIMIT is looking for originality and leverage.
